you wrapped team transpo?

Posted on August 22, 2017 by Jeremy Darlow

While out of home billboard space might not be in the budget for some programs, every team has access to unique advertising opportunities that are at the heart of each road trip. The best part? These billboards are not stationary, but instead travel where your teams go! WHAT IF you wrapped your team planes and buses with program marketing? Mirroring the model of some equipment staffs’ use of their trucks to showcase team schedules and creative, leveraging the unused space on team planes and buses to extend and expand your program’s marketing campaigns will take your narrative on the road with you. I’ve previously illustrated the opportunity to leverage the plane arrival for marketing opportunities, but using the actual plane as a canvas to showcase your creative, takes this concept to an entirely new level. The national editorial and social media conversations that will be garnered from the unveil of and updates to your new team transportation will be worth the cost of design. Major networks already cover the bus arrivals of teams at rival stadiums. Imagine the PR and social coverage around a custom paint job featuring impactful and unique program creative.
