you covered your stadium with graffiti?

We love art. Much like music, art is transcendent. A 75 year-old man and 18 year-old young woman could love the same piece of art, creating a unique connection from two individuals from very different times. Art can not only connect people, it can also transform a community. The Wynwood Walls, an area in Miami, Florida is one of my favorite places on earth. If you’re not familiar with the Walls, a quick Google search will serve you with this description: “A unique outdoor destination featuring huge, colorful street murals by artists from around the globe.” Quick back story on the Walls, according to the community’s official site. The Wynwood Walls project was conceived by Tony Goldman in 2009; a well-known community revitalizer. In Goldman’s words: “Wynwood’s large stock of warehouse buildings, all with no windows, would be my giant canvases to bring to them the greatest street art ever seen in one place.” Today Wynwood draws some of the greatest artists in the world. WHAT IF you turned your stadium façade into a Wynwood-like art installment? WHAT IF you updated it every year? WHAT IF your stadium façade was enough to bring fans, media to campus?
